Robert (Bob) Shields
Bob Shields joined Copytronics Information Systems as a sales representative in 1976; in 1980, he was promoted to Jacksonville Sales Manager and became the General Sales Manager of the entire company in 1990. Bob assumed his current position of President of Copytronics Information Systems in 1997. Bob serves on the foundation board of Brooks Health Systems, River Garden Home for the Aged, and is a member of the Gator Bowl Executive Committee. Other boards Bob has served on are The March of Dimes, and Junior Achievement where he is a past president. Currently Bob serves on two boards specific to his industry-- President of the Copier Dealers’ Association ,and US Bancorp Leasing, as an advisory board member.
Director Of Sales
John Williams has been in the Document Production Industry for over 20 years. John worked as a Copier Sales Associate and Major Account Representative for Ameritech Communications from 1983-1990 in Huntington Beach CA. He began his managerial career as a Packaging Sales Manager with Zellerback Paper Company and excelled in this position for 5 years. John re-entered the office equipment industry with IKON Office Solutions as a Sales Manager in 1996 and quickly worked his way up to the Branch Manager’s role in 1998. John was presented the position of VP of Sales for the Los Angeles North Market Place and successfully led a team of professionals through 2003. Mr. Williams joined Copytronics Information Systems in the fall of 2003 and holds the position of Director of Sales. John oversees over 40 managers and sales associates at Copytronics Information Systems.
Director of Service
Al is a veteran of over 40 years in the office equipment industry. Al began his career in Philadelphia in 1965 as a service technician with the Xerox Corporation. He was promoted to the management team in 1977 and held various positions until joining Oce’ USA in 1984. At Oce’, Al was promoted to Eastern Regional Manager and was responsible for 15 locations and 150+ technicians and 15 managers throughout the East and Southeast. Al joined Copytronics Information Systems in 1991 as the Director of Service.
Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations
Walter Robinson joined Copytronics in 2001 after a successful career as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Clariti Telecommunications, formerly NKO, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Robinson brings to Copytronics over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, which includes 12 years as CFO/Vice President Finance, 5 years as Controller and 8 years as Director of Financial Planning. His broad range of experience includes retail and wholesale distribution in telecommunications, manufacturing and banking. Since joining Copytronics, Mr. Robinson, together with his staff, has re-engineered the operations group with the goal of providing customers a much higher level of professional service and care, resulting in reduced costs and improved efficiencies.
