Outside Sales Representatives / Account Executives

Copytronics Information Systems, an industry leader since 1972, is currently seeking Outside Sales Representatives / Account Executives to join our team! As an Account Executive within the Copytronics family, you must demonstrate exceptional dedication to our existing customers while developing new business relationships with a high degree of integrity. Business-to-business selling experience (with knowledge in the office products industry), is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide extensive training to the right candidate(s) with a desire to succeed. "Can-do" and "will-do" attitude is a MUST!

Essential Activities:
  • Make new sales calls on potential buyers to secure appointments with decision making individuals, 8-10 first appointments per week
  • Perform an effective needs analysis and be able to present finding (proposal presentation)
  • Be familiar with current equipment capabilities and acquisition programs/costs
  • Be familiar with company territory/time management
  • Provide customer service and support all clients (i.e. current customers and prospects)
  • Report your sales activity and results on a timely basis to immediate supervisor
  • Offer an accurate sales forecast to your immediate supervisor
Major Goals and Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed personal sales quota, operate an effective territory management plan, understand and effectively present entire product line, be an effective problem solver, support all companies programs / policies, and present a professional business image.
Toughest Parts of Job:
  • Time management, competition / product arena, understand our particular problem solving issues, rejection or disappointments, and patience to develop accounts over 6 - 12 months
To be considered for an Outside Sales / Account Executive position, you must also posses the following:
  • At least 2 years work-related experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Superior knowledge of sales techniques; including cold-calling, networking and negotiating
  • Strong solution-selling skills
  • Excellent (written and oral) communication
  • Ability to minimize and decrease cancellations
  • Exceptional preparation and organization skills
  • Independence with a high degree of integrity
  • Commitment and dedication to being the best
  • Ability to capture and close deals
  • Willingness to learn product line; and ability to demonstrate equipment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of (auto) insurability
